Why Food and Why a Blog?

I've always loved making and consuming food. When I was younger, it was always about baking sweet, tasty treats. Now that I'm an adult(?), I feel I should prepare relatively nutritious food for myself and my guinea pig husband. I've found that I love preparing food now almost as much as eating it. Getting new cookbooks at the library and planning out the week's meals on Sunday has become a routine for me.

So I've always loved food.

But why a blog? This is how I explained it to Jacob yesterday. I love reading and talking about food and looking at food pictures, maybe one other person in this world is similar enough to me that they would appreciate what I've done and I can bring them joy. Also, I've been wanting a way to inventory what I make because I've fallen into the habit of making a meal once, loving ait, and then forgetting that I ever made that dish.

And instead of doing what Creed did on the Office for his blog, I wanted to actually make it onto the internet.

The other idea is to share this blog with my sisters, so they can also show others what they're making and we can cheer each other on.
